Now that we are finally together, we may set out along the trails of Strandja, and peep into all these heavenly recesses, which the mountain has preserved from the remote past to the present day.

Strandja is a crossroad. The mountain is both a borderline and a connection between two continents – Europe and Asia, three seas – the Black, the Aegean and the Marble Sea, transport, cultural and historical corridors, civilizations.

As a junction Strandja brings together roads and paths – those starting from the Black Sea and heading towards the interior of the mountain to its cool forests, and the rest, which start from the Thracian valley and reach the mountain's high crystal clear beech-wood springs.

As a junction Strandja forwards roads. Its most clear-water rivers flow directly into the Black Sea.
